ANALISIS KADAR SULFAT, CROM, PLUMBUM DAN KAPASITAS TUKAR KATION DALAM LUMPUR LAPINDO

ABSTRAK

Lumpur adalah tanah yang berbentuk cairan atau semi cair. Lumpur terjadi saat tanah basah. Lumpur panas yang menyembur pada tanggal 29 Mei 2006 di desa Renokenongo, kecamatan Porong, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur telah menimbulkan keresahan di hati masyarakat Indonesia dan pemerintah. Banyak penelitian yang telah dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang keberadaan kandungan kimia lumpur tersebut. Pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan yaitu penentuan konsentrasi Sulfat, Cr, Pb, Kapasitas Tukar Kation dan penentuan pH. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda Spektrofotometri, AAS, Volumetri dan Potensiometri. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yaitu Sulfat sebesar 69.18 ppm, Cr sebesar 0.421 ppm, Pb sebesar 0.519 ppm, KTK yang sedikit sekali terkandung didalamnya, dan pH netral. Hasil ini jika dilihat dari beberapa informasi tentang lumpur tersebut oleh Tim yang telah memriksa seperti Succofindo, Bogorlab, Corelab, didapatkan perbedaan antara konsentrasi lumpur waktu baru keluar dengan konsentrasi lumpur setelah satu tahun keluar.

ABSTRACT

Mud is the land that formed liquid or semiliquid. Mud happened while the land is wet. The hot mud that go out on May 29^th, 2006 at Renokenongo village, Porong district, Sidoarjo regency, East Java, aroused nervousness at human’s heart and the government in Indonesian. Much the research is done to get information about the chemistry pregnancy of the mud. In the research has already done these are desicion concentration of Sulfate, Chrom, Plumbum/Timbale, Kation Exchange Capasity and pH. This research using the methode such as Spectrophotometry, Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometry, volumetric, and potensiometry. From this research is gotten the results are concentration of Sulfate is 69.18 ppm, Chrom is 0.421 ppm, Plumbum/Timbale is 0.519 ppm, degree of Kation Exchange Capasity that too small, and pH netral. If the results is seen from some imformation about the mud by the group had examined such as Succofindo, Bogorlab, Corelab is gotten difference. This difference between concentrate of the mud just go out with concentrate of the mud after one year go out.
